We at Banner Cross Methodist  Church take pride in our church. We also believe in sharing our facilities with the local community. We are based at the junction of Psalter Lane & Ecclesall Rd South. Banner Cross is served by regular buses from the City & from the outer suburbs towards the Peak District.

We have parking at the front of church & the rear for approximately 12 cars. Free on road parking is available in the surrounding streets.

We regret that at the present time we are not accepting room bookings for Saturdays & Sundays

Ground Floor
Room 1 - £32.50 per hour or part thereof.
This is our main worship room & our weekly Sunday service takes place here. The room measures 21m long 9m wide & in the centre is 8m high.
The room can seat 200. The flooring is mainly wooden with a small carpeted area at one end. There are 3 large screens in this room with overhead projectors, these can be made available if necessary. Disabled access from the front of church.
Room 2 - £19.00 per hour or part thereof.
A flexible meeting room able to seat 50 people. The room measures 12m long 9m wide & 5m high. Wholly laminate flooring. Overhead projector which displays onto a plain wall. This room has direct access to the main kitchen via a hatch. Disabled access from the front of church.
 
Main Kitchen - £10 flat charge per session
Both room 1 & 2 are served by the main kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookers ovens sinks & dishwasher. For the making of hot drinks & serving cold snacks a flat charge is made,
Full use of the kitchen would be subject to a separately agreed charge.
 
Lower Ground Floor
Room 3 - £14.00 per hour or part thereof.
Measures 7.5m long & 6m wide. Laminate flooring. Chairs & tables are available if required. Full height French widows open onto the rear of church.
Disabled access from the rear car park.
 
Room 6 - £13.00per hour or part thereof.
Measures 8m long & 3m wide. Carpet flooring. Chairs & tables are available if required.
Disabled access from the rear car park.
There is a room downstairs for making drinks, with a sink for washing cups.

A loop system has been installed in Meeting Rooms 1 and 2 for the hard of hearing.
The Church has retained the Methodist Church tradition of not allowing alcohol on the premises, and expects anyone hiring a room to honour this rule.
