Alfred Denny Museum
The Alfred Denny Museum is a zoological teaching museum used to illuminate the diversity of the animal kingdom through its large collection of specimens.
Run by Dr Emma Hughes, Professor Gavin Thomas and a small group of hardworking volunteers, we are dedicated to sharing the wonders of natural history.
As part of our outreach work we hold:
- Educational visits for schools
- Monthly tours for the general public
- Specialised workshops and events.
Location: University of Sheffield, Western Bank - The museum is located on the C floor of the building.
