Kids Invent Stuff Present: The Invention Show*

Egg-cellent inventor Ruth has lost the keys to the workshop and needs your help! Join Libby from Kids Invent Stuff for a fun, interactive invention show here at Magna. Together, you’ll tackle a series of inventive challenges to unlock the workshop, using creativity, problem solving and plenty of imagination along the way. Through hands-on moments and audience participation, your children will discover what it really means to be an inventor, how ideas are turned into real creations, and why curiosity is such a powerful tool.
Please note: Ruth Amos will appear virtually. Sessions will be delivered in person by the Kids Invent Stuff educational team.

Join our Light-Up Easter Card sessions where kids become little electrical engineers! They’ll design, decorate, and build their own Easter card—and make it shine with a real LED light. - Dates 6th April – 19th April : Pom Pom Shooters
Join our Pompom Shooter sessions where kids become mini engineers as they build, decorate, and fire their own pompom shooters! - Easter Egg-ineering Trail - Explore Magna Science Adventure Centre and complete the special trail throughout the whole of Easter!
- Under 5s STEM Play - Come and enjoy our soft play and STEM learning area specifically made for those visiting with younger children. We have lots of exciting activities to help your little one learn through play, including sensory exploration and logical thinking activities.
- Forge Demonstrations - Find out how steel can be shaped and watch a blacksmith at work with a Forge Demonstration in the Fire Pavilion throughout the holidays
- Steel Tours - To find out more about the history of the old steelworks, why not join us for Steel Tours with one of our steel heritage experts? Make sure to book at reception.
Sci-Tek - Big fun, Magna-style. Designed to let children learn through play, Sci-Tek is an outdoor adventure! Spinning bowls, tilted roundabouts, twisted slides, rockets and castles… all you need to spark the imagination and get active!
