Sheffield Botanical Gardens, Sheffield
Come and enjoy a peaceful stroll, spot the first blossoms, and experience the gardens at their finest! A great please to bring the children if your in need of a breath of fresh air and a free day out.
Come and visit one of the largest stately homes in the UK. Wentworth Woodhouse is an incredible and stunning home to visit, especially at this time of year when the gardens are just waking up again with the snowdrops peeking through.
St Leonards Snowdrop Celebration Day
We are holding our snowdrop celebration day on Valentine's day 14th February. Come along to St Leonard's and have a look at the amazing displays of snowdrops that will be flowering in our lower graveyard. Inside the church we will have potted snowdrops for sale and a range of handmade crafts and gifts. You can have a cuppa and biscuits and a look around the church.
Yorkshire Sculpture Park
Signs of spring are slowly emerging, with our annual carpet of snowdrops in bloom around the Upper Lake. It's a great time to visit and experience this natural marvel, so lace up your boots and set out on a walk around the lakes, looking out for snowdrops, nesting birds and sculptures outdoors as you explore.
Braodworth Hall, Broadsworth, Doncaster
The first of our Snowdrops have arrived and we can't wait for the carpet of white that will be coming over the next month! There’s plenty for the whole family to enjoy at Brodsworth. Kids will love exploring the gardens and the outdoor play area, and the hall’s history is brought to life by changing exhibitions and friendly volunteer room stewards. There’s also a welcoming tearoom in the servants’ wing.
Chatsworth House
With over 160 snowdrop varieties thriving in damp conditions across the estate - have you spotted many snowdrops yet? It's a beautiful time of year to come and visit the gardens are grounds.
