It's that fun time of year where we can don the woollies and get out in the autumnal sunshine for (our favourite tradition) some pumpkin picking.

Matlock Farm Park 
If you are looking for a Fang-tastic day out with the kids, which includes a popping pumpkin pack then Matlock Farm Park needs to be on your visit list for this year. Grab a wheelbarrow and choose your whopper, then head to the carving station (or feel free to take it home) to create your pumpkin pals.

Litton Lanterns
This lovely pumpkin patch is here for the pumpkins!  Grab those wellies, bring the pooch and let's get picking.
Little Lanterns is open on weekends only, so make sure to schedule this event and check their socials to ensure they are open when you plan to go.

Village Pick Your Own

Oh my gourd! This year, there are some groovy little munchkins in the patch, ~ perfect for autumnal decorations. Don't forget to bring your camera for those cute pumpkin patch pics. Wheelchair/pushchair accessible, dogs on leads only & only allowed in the refreshments field and car park - not on the pumpkin patch, sorry.
Date: Weekends in October

Ashover Family Farm 

It's time to go on a pumpkin hunt. We're going to find a big one! Ashover Family Farm are back again for another brilliant year on the Pumpkin Patch. Open every day from the 4th of October, you can find all shapes and sizes of pumpkins. The children will have a blast walking through the field, the corn maze, the wildflowers, marshmallow toasting, and enjoying the refreshments available. Dogs are allowed to join you - please keep them on a lead.

Stretton Hall Farm Pumpkin Patch

The spooooookey season has hit Stretton Hall Farm with their Pumpkin Patch opening early doors, on the 3rd of October. Along with some tasty treats (not tricks, we promise), you can come on over to choose your perfect pumpkin.
Date: Every Friday, Saturday & Sunday throughout October (starting from the 3rd)
Time: 
9.30am - 4pm Fridays
9.30am - 5pm Saturday - Sunday
Location: Stretton Hall Farm, Chesterfield

Cannon Hall Farm 

Cannon Hall Farm’s incredible pumpkin patch is returning this October – and is full of Instagrammable family moments. There are almost 10,000 pumpkins available for visitors to pick, and our expert carvers will shape out those toothy grins for you.
This full, fun-filled day out will have your little ones screaming with excitement. Join in with indoor and outdoor playgrounds, animal talks, dress up, and join the spooky Halloween pumpkin ride, along with the farm park itself. 

Date: Between 4th October - 31st October (on selected dates)
Time: 10am - 6pm
Location: Cannon Hill Farm, Cawthorne
Cost: £16.95 per person (all paying children receive a free pumpkin)

Farmer Copleys Pumpkin Festival 

With fields of over 300,000 homegrown pumpkins, you'll be sure to find your whopper - in all sorts of colours - orange, white, green and stripy, you choose.
Not only can you pick your pumpkins, you can also find tractor rides, live shows, archery, vintage fairground rides, witches' story time, scarecrow family, fancy dress competitions and lots of delicious food and drinks. 

Date: 27th September - 31st October
Time: 10am - 4pm
Location: Farmer Copleys, Pontefract
Cost: £6.70 each, plus pay per pumpkin.
